The City of Lowell would like to invite everyone to enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend and the City of Lights Parade.
Free parking all weekend at Edward Early and Joseph Downes starting on Friday morning.
Free parking at Leo Roy all day Friday, Saturday until 8:00 pm ($5.00 after 8:00 pm) and free parking all day Sunday.
Customers are asked to pull a ticket at all entry gates and will be allowed free exit.
Normal parking rates at Lower Locks and Ayotte, including event parking for UML vs. Harvard.
Free on-street event parking for UML vs. Harvard on Father Morissette, Cabot, Hall and Suffolk streets. Please adhere to the Residential Parking Permit restriction on Perkins Street. On-street parking and kiosks will be in effect.

The daytime fun leads to the nighttime extravaganza — The City of Lights Parade and City Hall Lighting — which marks the City’s official start to the holiday season!

4:30 PM – 6:30 PM | Parade route starts on Jackson Street
Get your spot along the parade route, from Jackson Street to City Hall. Enjoy live music from the area’s best marching bands and see a variety of brilliantly decorated floats ! Don’t miss the official holiday lighting of downtown Lowell, City Hall, and the Wannalancit Smokestack Tree at the end of the parade!
