Jim Troup promoted from Parking to Deputy Director- Administration & Finance


In a move that was done without any public announcement, Jim Troup who has one an outstanding job has the Parking Director for the City of Lowell was promoted to the 2015/2016 created position of Deputy Director- Administration & Finance in the DPW

Since the Manager to my knowledge did not inform the public of the hiring, no salary level has been publicly announced.

You may want to ask the present City Council about TRANSPARENCY during the upcoming two weeks to find out why the public is not being informed of these hirings at a City Council meeting. They introduce board and commission members, shouldn’t they introduce the public to the person who is a new hire for a deputy director position? Especially so the Council can publicly Thank him for his years at the Parking dept. and his excellent work there?

Current  Finance Administrative  Asst NICHOLAS  NAVIN –  has been named Interim Director for the Parking Dept. , again Salary has not been made public.
