The City Administration is announcing a change in the hours at City Hall beginning next Monday June 13th.
Monday – Wednesday and Thursday the hours will be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Tuesday – 8:00 am – 8:00PM
Friday – 8:00 am – NOON
This affects the City Hall Depts ( Treasurer – Clerk – Manager – Inspectional Service) DPD and the Career Center on Merrimack St.
Many communities in Mass already have a similar schedule and having the offices open on a Tuesday Night makes sense to allow some residents to make it to City Hall after 5:00 pm
It will be a 90 day Trial and can be extended for another 90 days in Sept.
