Facts VS Rumors ! Science Fair, enrollment, Project Learn

There is no silver bullet to make everyone happy with Lowell Schools and I’ve accepted the facts that some will find fault with anything and spread unsubstantiated rumors about things being cancelled that haven’t been and make negative comments about a program that has brought in millions or telling people enrollment has gone down when it hasn’t.

So to address some rumors – let me share a few FACTS !

1) The SCIENCE FAIR IS NOT I REPEAT NOT CANCELLED OR IN DANGER OF BEING CANCELLED. THERE WILL BE A SCIENCE FAIR !

Project Learn – Has raised millions to support Lowell Schools Citywide. The item on this week’s agenda is a GRANT funded item – PROJECT LEARN, INC. $37,500.00 Funding provided by the Smith Family Foundation for Early College Grant To provide project management for the Early College program, including services for meeting facilitation, partner recruitment, coordinating marketing and public relation services as well as supporting outreach to students and families.
